The development of the Consumer Price Index / Jawa Timur Inflation - August 2019

In August 2019 Jawa Timur experienced inflation of 0.12 percent. Seven cities experienced inflation and one city experienced deflation. The highest inflation in Jember reached 0.33 percent, while deflation occurred in Kediri by 0.23 percent. Of the seven expenditure groups, five groups experienced inflation and two groups experienced deflation. The group experiencing the highest inflation was the Education, Recreation, and Sports group of 1.55 percent, while the group that experienced the highest deflation was the Foodstuffs group of 0.57 percent.
