Abstract

In October 2019 Jawa Timur experienced a deflation of 0.02 percent. Of the eight CPI cities in Jawa Timur, five cities experienced inflation and three cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation in Kediri reached 0.32 percent, while the highest deflation occurred in Banyuwangi of 0.09 percent.
Of the seven expenditure groups, two groups experienced deflation and five groups experienced inflation. The group that experienced the highest inflation was the Health group by 0.44 percent, while the group that experienced the highest deflation was the Foodstuffs group by 0.40 percent.
