Abstract

The total workforce in August 2021 in Jawa Timur Province was 22.32 million people, an increase of 55.03 thousand people compared to August 2020 and an increase of 141.37 thousand people compared to February 2021. However, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) in August 2021 decreased by 0.33 percentage points compared to the August 2020 TPAK.
The August 2021 Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Jawa Timur Province was 5.74 percent, down 0.1 percentage point compared to August 2020, but up 0.57 percentage point compared to February 2021.
