Abstract

In December 2024, inflation will occur year on year (y-on-y) and year to date (y-to-d) in East Java Province at 1.51 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.11. The highest inflation of 1.97 percent occurred in Sumenep with a CPI of 109.71 and the lowest inflation occurred in Bojonegoro Regency at 1.14 percent with a CPI of 108.34.
Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: transportation group by 0.52 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.12 percent. The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate for East Java Province in December 2024 is 0.46 percent.
