The Kediri Regency Communication and Information Office in collaboration with BPS-Statistics of Kediri Regency held a meeting forum for members of the Community Information Coordination Agency (Bakoinmas) in the Jayabaya Room Office of the Kediri Regent Office Monday December 9, 2019, this activity is a routine activity which is held every month by the Office of Communication and Information. The meeting was attended by 125 Bakoinmas members,
In his address on that occasion the Head of the Department of Communication and Information of the District of Kediri represented by the Head of Public Information Management, Sunartis appealed to all members of Bakoinmas to use this forum as a means of disseminating information to the public, each member is expected to be proactive when there are programs or actual things and are as important as the 2020 Population Census activities.
Appearing as presenter of the material was the Head of BPS-Statistics of Kediri Regency, Lilik Wibawati, with the theme "Towards One Indonesian Data and 2020 Population Census Business Process".
In his paper, Lilik Wibawati emphasized the importance of the active role of the community in supporting these activities both during the online census (independent census) from February to March 2020 and the Census Interview System conducted by field officers in July 2020. Besides that, he also expected the active role of members bakoinmas to disseminate information about the 2020 population census in institutions, agencies and institutions where members are located.
Some questions were raised by participants about BPS-Statistics readiness in terms of infrastructure and full support from the Population and Civil Registry Office as the basic data provider.
