Tuesday, February 20 2024 at the Kilisuci District Government Room. Kediri, BPS Kediri Regency held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Regional Development in Numbers 2024. The activity was attended by 40 participants from OPD, vertical agencies in Kediri Regency, BUMN and BUMD.
The Head of Kediri Regency BPS, represented by the Kediri Regency BPS Intermediate Statistics, gave a speech during the series of events, he said that the importance of data as a basis for development planning and evaluation. Compiling Regions in Figures is one of BPS's efforts to realize one data, as is BPS's obligation to compile Regions in Numbers in order to meet the needs of data users.
On this occasion, material related to the Evaluation of the Implementation of Sectoral Statistics and One Indonesian Data for Kediri Regency was also presented, which was delivered directly by a special resource person from the District Bappeda. Kediri and the Kediri Regency Communication and Information Service.
We hope that this FGD can produce sectoral statistical data to better answer the challenges of developing Kediri Regency. Apart from that, it is also to improve the quality and improvement of sectoral statistical data summarized in the DDA, considering that the DDA is the main reference publication used for planning, evaluation and as a basis for making government policies.
