Human Development Index (HDI) of Kediri Regency, 2019

Human development in Jawa Timur in 2019 continues to progress. In 2018 the HDI of Kediri Regency reached 71.07 and subsequently in 2019 it reached 71.85 or grew 1.10 percent.

In Kediri Regency, during the period 2018 to 2019, the components forming the HDI also increased. Newborns have the opportunity to live up to 72.54 years, up 0.17 years. Children aged 7 years have the opportunity to attend school for 12.88 years, an increase of 0.01 years. Meanwhile, the population aged 25 years and over has on average been educated for 8.01 years, increasing by 0.33 years. Adjusted per capita expenditure (constant 2012 prices) has reached Rp. 11.15 million, an increase of Rp.293 thousand compared to the previous year. The increase in all components led to an increase in HDI in general.
