The Human Development Index of Kediri Regency 2024

◼ 2024 HDI growth will accelerate from the previous year. All dimensions forming HDI have increased, especially decent living standards and knowledge.

◼ In the dimension of longevity and healthy living, babies born in 2024 have the hope of living up to 75.07 years, an increase of 0.22 years compared to those born in the previous year.

◼ In the knowledge dimension, the expected length of schooling (HLS) for the population aged 7 years increased by 0.01 years compared to the previous year, from 13.62 to 13.63 years, while the average length of schooling (RLS) for the population aged 25 years and over also increased by 0.02 years, from 8.24 years to 8.26 years in 2024.

◼ The dimension of decent living standards as measured by the average real expenditure per capita per year (adjusted) in 2024 will increase by 436 thousand rupiah or 3.65 percent compared to the previous year
